“Ask the Recycling Expert” and Recycling Bins at Libraries in February
Waukesha (WI) – January 19, 2012 –Want to increase your recycling to help save resources, create jobs, and save money for your community? Are you confused by those pesky plastics and their codes? Do you wonder where all those materials collected in your neighborhood go or what they are made into? Now you can ask someone in person for the answers to these and other recycling questions.
Residents are reminded that they can now recycle more items such as milk, juice and soup cartons, as well as all types of clean paper packaging. With the increase in materials collected, you may need an additional blue bin or a replacement if your current bin is cracked or broken.
County recycling staff will be at eight libraries in February with recycling information and free recycling bins while supplies last.
